Topics up for discussion include whether slow or fast zombies are scarier, and the move from radioactive zombies to virus-infected zombies in films. Students will watch "Night of the Living Dead", "28 Days Later", and "Zombieland".
According to a professor for a similar class in Columbia College in Chicago, "It was kind of a fight to get it as a recognized course at the school, because at first, it appears to be kind of a frivolous topic.".
