Autism is a neural disorder appearing in the first three years of a child’s life that affects the brain’s development of social and communication skills. Researchers estimate that 1 in every 110 children is diagnosed with this condition.
The causes of this disorder are yet unknown, which is largely attributable to the fact that there are a variety of symptoms and levels of severity displayed. Statistics show that the disease’s rate of prevalence is growing 10-17% annually, however this may be due to increased precision in diagnosing the disorder.
