Yes it's true. Even if you hold your breath you wont be able to keep the oxygen from coming in. No matter what you do you WILL open your mouth to take in oxygen.
It is also true that you cannot sneeze with your eyes open. It is said to have been that if you do (not quite possible) keep your eyes open while sneezing, Your eyeballs will fall out. Not proved though. And don't try either!
